A Kroger pharmacist in Georga refuesed to dispense Plan-B to a customer for reasons of conscience.
Legally, a Pharmacist can refuse to fill a prescription if It is agianst their beliefs or ethics, but they must then make arraingments to have the prescription filled by either another pharmacist on duty, or another pharmacy alltogether. Read more

Here is a PDF from Drugtopics.com on a Historic Pharmacy still standing in Yarmouthport, Massachusetts.
Hallet’s Apothecary houses a museum of pharmacy-related memorabilia on it’s upper level, with items dating back to the late 1800’s.
Sounds like a neat place to check out if you are ever in the area. A true piece of history offering a look back at what Pharmacy meant in the late 19th century.

A robust list on tips for spotting a forged or altered script was running strong on the old boards at the PTCB website, and we should start one in our forum too.
In the meantime, I have this link for you to read.
It doesn’t so much give a list of tips for spotting them, but it provides a good background on the most common drugs diverted and prescription forgery, and a background on the different types of abusers. Check it out. It’s a good read.
